Progress Report - 10/18/2021
Hey fans!
I've got an update for you on the progress for Chapter 4 of APAT. Much of the last few weeks has been building assets, characters, and getting ready for the holidays. With that being said, I'm about 1/3rd of the way finished.
I may add more scenes but this is what I'm currently working on. I've created some concept art for Moon but I'm going to go back through and change a few minor things to her model. We won't really see her until the third game in the APAT trilogy. And I'll probably start referring to the whole trilogy as The Rose Garden trilogy because we're focusing on Rose's children. Name credited to Taellosse who came up with it.
I'm also putting a lot of effort into the Time Collector scene. The Time Collector was my very first project that I worked on. I ended up scrapping it after I felt like it just wasn't right for my first project. Two years later, I wanted to see what I could actually do with all this experience. So I'm putting I a lot of effort into it because it's personally important to me. I realize a lot of you guys probably wish I'd focus on APAT instead but this has been rewarding and worth it to me. We'll see The Time Collector when Chester and Petal sit down to watch TV. You'll have the option to skip the majority of it if you want to.
And I have a special announcement. I was able to get some LewdFX placed into the game. I went back through and added these sound effects to earlier chapters too. So moving forward, we'll have some sound effects for some sex animations. Heavy breathing, moaning, sucking, wet sloshing. The best part is that if you hate it, you can turn it all the way down in the options menu and you won't hear it. The LewdFX are separate from the sound effects so you can still hear doors opening and things like that if you want. So we'll have three volume sliders; Music, Sound Effects, LewdFX.
Here's a teaser from The Time Collector. I'll try to have something spicy from the actual game for the next teaser.

I love this AVN so far... But could we get another progress update? Any idea when we'll see that next installment?
Hey Nekomusume Daisuki! We've re-opened our Patreon page. One of the perks of being a subscriber on Patreon is a detailed progress report every other week. I actually just did one there a few days ago.
I'm working on the final two scenes but I want to make sure they're both exceptional so I'm putting in extra effort on them. We'll likely see the release late November or early December.

I still think you should make Time Collector. You make some of the best VN's out there.
In a lot of ways, I do regret not doing more with The Time Collector. I've loved working on this small scene I'm doing. I'm not sure it would work well in this market but that's a possibility I might try to do something with it in the future. I've already got an idea I'm pretty set on for my next game after the Rose Garden trilogy. If I do anything with The Time Collector, it won't be for a while unfortunately. I'm do appreciate your confidence in my abilities though. That does wonders for my self-esteem. Thank you!

Lockheart, your games are all great. I have no arguments with anything you want to do. You always think things out well.
All your plans sound awesome. Very thoughtful to make some sounds work while others are silent...We met Bliss already, so I hope we get a teaser of Moon. A guy can wish anyway. Time Collector sounds out-of-this-world... (sorry, puns are not funny sometimes.)
