Super cool game I've also played all the other games I also think the connections between the games are great, because you always read something that you've seen in another game before, like the Pridwyn company.
I've now played the 3rd chapter and I was super happy that Penny was there again and that you learned more about her background story and it explains a few things in the other games super cool Penny is one of my favorite charterers. I hope that her story will continue to be written at some point

AVNs confuse me. A regular finished indie game is 1.0+. You can have an AVN, like your's, that is now 3.0.1 and is not finished! Not picking on you, because I have seen an ANV called 0.8.0 that was a finished game, have no idea why the dev didn't make it 1.0! As much as the sex part, I think AVNs have a small market share because people just don't know what their getting! I.e. and AVN was marked 0.2.0 and was on sale on Itch.io for $3. Luckily I looked at the comments first, because everyone was complaining the game version was just 20 minutes long!
The android version is giving errors for messages that you receive. You cab keep going in the story without the messages until you get the message from Nixie. At this point the error stops you from proceeding.

I used to charge for releases, but I've stopped doing that and instead charge a discounted price for the full game which you'll be able to play as it releases. So if you purchase A Moment of Bliss today, you'll get it for less than what it will cost after it's complete and you will receive the updates as they release. Though each release includes all previous releases, so you'll be downloading the current Chapter plus all previous Chapters. I don't cut them into parts.

This story is not yet concluded. I'll be releasing Chapter 3 in December. When A Moment of Bliss is complete, I'll be working on the last game in the series tentatively titled Over the Moon. A Moment of Bliss should be complete around summer of next year.
Hey there! Just wanted to make a comment regarding the tagging of this game. Considering the intentions demonstrated, you should clearly use the Lesbian Tag and not just the Threesome Tag. It's quite different and very important for people that need to know the content before getting too involved with the story. Already too late for me, but this might help others.
A lesbian tag implies that there are women in the story that are only interested in other women. This is not the case for any of the love interests in the game. All sexual activity happens within the harem, and only with the MC present at this point. There could be an argument made for a subcategory for harem where the women don't interact with each other. Perhaps it would be called a Selfish Harem, where the women are only allowed to sexually interact with the MC but never with each other? In my stories, it's always going to be an Open Harem, where everyone is invested emotionally and sexually in each other.
I understand where you are coming from, but to be frank I've never seen it interpreted that way. From what I see in 99% of games/stories, the Lesbian tag isn't for exclusively Lesbian relations, but rather to indicate there are F+F sexual encounters or relationships. Selfish Harem has a bit of a mean connotation to it.
You make absolutely amazing games, your renders are great and the concepts seem really cool. It's too bad we can't have it both ways with content filters (I understand its too much work for you, specially if you work alone), but I guess that's just a me problem. I was the one that foolishly got invested in a story that would hurt me. When I played A Petal Among Thorns I did get my spidey-senses warning me Bliss was going to hurt me, playing up to the first real conversation with her in AMoB just confirmed it.

I'll preface this by saying that I realize most people don't care about this, it might just be me because of my personal things, but I have seen other people agree with me in a few threads and other games (not a lot though, I admit).
It's definetely not that bad for most people, it's just that the idea that Bliss is going after the Mom and is romantically interested in other girls kinda puts the MC in a complete sideline, he's just "another piece of meat", specially considering it seems she made a move on the Mom first (which makes it seem she's more interested in girls and more interested in the Mom).
And if Petal or Rose and the MC are so in love with each other, the idea of Bliss coming and seducing Petal or Rose to make her less focused on the MC disturbs me.
Some games do this really well, making the threesomes just a stimulant for the relationship and a nice experiment, but the moment the girls start loving each other it makes me fell like the MC is just an extra. How could Petal say all those things about the MC but then love someone else? Would she say the same things to them? The thought makes me distressed.
I realize this makes me sound COMPLETELY off the rails or something, I'm sorry for trying to have this. It's just that these games are a fantasy and it seems the fantasy of having girls only in love with you is really rare, almost all Harem games tend to be Open Harems (or at least the really good ones, like yours, with good renders and good writing).
Edit: A good thought exercise to have - imagine if Bliss was a guy. Wouldn't everyone in the comments be throwing a tantrum crying "NTR! NTR!"?
You don't have to apologize for your interests. These games are fantasy, specifically designed to accommodate unique interests. However, I didn't write any of the characters as you're describing them. Bliss hasn't expressed that much interest in Rose, or anyone else except for Chester. So much so that she's seducing Nixie into a relationship with Chester because she wants him to have unrelenting pleasure and affection. Petal is the same way. Petal's main motivation is pleasing Chester, because she herself derives a lot of pleasure from making him happy. All of the characters are devoted to the main character, but that doesn't mean there isn't friendship and love between the girls.
I understand what you're saying though. I've heard it a few times now. It doesn't feel like Chester is focused on enough, and a few people have voiced this concern. This story is set for how it's going to be. Everything revolves around Chester, but he's not always involved with everything that's going on. I felt this was one of his strengths. He has the maturity to know when to step away from situations to let them breathe. When Bliss interacts with Nixie in the pool, he's letting them have some time together. He doesn't need to be in the spotlight at all times. And that's a robust and independent attribute.
Again though, a lot of people feel the same way. Chester is growing and becoming a more dominant person. He's starting to take control of his own destiny more and more. Right now, a lot of things are happening to him and not because of him. That will change over the course of the story as he develops more as a character. You gotta give that time though.
I've never been able to get my head round people wanting to have every girl in a game at his beck and call in games but don't dare let any other character have sex with someone else or dare say that they love someone else. People can love more that one person simultaneously and have a sexual relationship built on love and not just lust with more than one person at a time. It's like the people that want every girl in a game to be a virgin as if women don't like to have sex and should be pure as the driven snow and never touched by anyone even themselves. Just my tuppence worth. Hell I've saw people wanting mother's to be virgins in games and have had a baby through artificial insemination. It's crazy how distressed people get about these things.
I'm pretty sure there's a mother in Radiant that is a virgin. I mean, it's fantasy. Men want to plow land that's never been tainted before. I don't want too much realism in my games. I play them to escape from reality.
Although, I honestly think if it was Petal's harem, that'd be super hot. Unfortunately not many players in this market would agree. To each his own. :-)
I get the fantasy aspect, I really do. I love your games and I like the virgin fantasy thing too, I think most vn players do but was just meaning about some who think a woman should be tossed aside if she isn't one in game or that an MC should be able to have a harem with countless women but the women shouldn't even be allowed to look at anyone else even with the MCs permission and perhaps I'm being about of a hypocrite but I thought Brooke's story was really wholesome and cute in radiant. I was in no way having a go at your game in any way whatsoever, I actually hoped come the end of over the moon there'd be a lot of free love within the whole family dynamic between all family members and even a few side characters to boot along the lines of perhaps a mid-life crisis but this is your story to tell and I'll be happy with whatever happens. I was just trying to give a couple examples that people seem to get really bent out of shape about if a game doesn't go exactly how they want it to especially on some of the more toxic fandoms. It's just when some people have a go at a vn developer because they aren't pleased they put something in their story or didn't specifically warn them about a specific scene or didn't have a tag they believe that should have been there even though it shouldn't be there and they proceed to bring down parts of a game, it just doesn't sit well with me. Sorry if I caused you any trouble.

I purchased the game on 06-22-2022 06:55:58 for $7.99 + $1.40 VAT, which was 6 weeks ago, so I could not have got Chapter 2 part 2 as Chapter 2 part 2 was released 13 days ago according to this page, yet
when I download it and use the last save there is no extra content, it says the game has ended, just like with my original download!
So I am totally confused. why is my 2.21 version not doing anything more than my old 2.11? I tried installing it over the original installation folder, and I tried putting it in it's own folder, and both were the same. Either version is ending when I lay on the sofa and find out about the experiments from Suzi, with Rose and Suzi talking in the bedroom.

I'm having issues with getting past the bliss and nixie at the pool scene. It always crashes and I can't move on with the story. I'm on Android and can't figure it out, any suggestions?
Mr lockheart the 2 update is really mind-blowing. The imagination you have is really awesome .great work man.make sure don't finish the game fast.and make lots of romatic scenes and reduce the sex scean that will be great.and waiting for next update.
These errors have been fixed with the latest release. If you Unren the game, you will break it. Unfortunately the decipher that it uses misinterprets several if / then statements.
The interesting thing is, I downloaded the latest version from here. I got this exception during chapter 2. Hopefully I don't have this problem when chapter 3 comes out.
I just played the newest release, and I have to say that the work is some Quality stuff - I wish we could choose who to romance and who to not, but I'm pretty sure there's a reason for your choices. *spoilers* With that said I did not expect a certain person to have the same desires as the father. Hey Lockheart, Just played this lastest release, I've enjoyed your previous games immensely, you definitely have talent for avn. I hope this doesn't come off as rude, I just wanted to put some feedback. Forcing the harem and making all the girls okay with open relationships and taking away any player choice feels wrong. I would have loved to decide who I wanted to romance and have them be solely focused on the player. anyways that's just my two cents. you're making quality work, I just feel it falls flat when being forced into these fetishes.
I completely agree that girls should be optional and up to the player to decide if they want to pursue them. Make that many paths as a single developer is incredibly ambitious, and I couldn't get releases out at a reasonable speed if I did that. I've made the difficult decision to make the game more of a story on rails so that I can get the story I want to tell out at a reasonable release interval.
If I had all the money and resources I needed, I'd definitely flesh out multiple paths for a more player friendly experience. Hopefully one day I'll be at that point. Thanks for playing, fladfisk. I appreciate your support.
While I agree with you and it takes way too much work, it is incredibly distressing the idea of the girls getting romantically involved with other people. I can get over a quick threesome and be done with it but, after playing Petal Among Thorns and getting so invested in the characters, it broke my heart when I realized Bliss was actually after Rose instead of the MC. It's incredibly distressing, so much so that I quit playing the game.
Please tag your games better so players like me know they shouldn't play the game, you could've spared me some heartbreak.
Just played through the latest update (Chapter 2 part 2) -- and I completely agree, I wouldn't have wanted to exclude Nixie anyway. I read the "Walk it Back" log entry, and because I didn't get 2.2 instantly, I don't know what twist you undid -- something related to Westermark Effect? -- but I want to see more of Rose in the game, and surely wouldn't have any objection to see Petal, Bliss, Rose and/or Moon together in various ways, with or without Nixie or MC (or Chuck and/or Wendy, for that matter).

Only recently discovered itch. And I'm glad I did, Just played the demo of Petal and happened to read where steam refused to put it on their platform. Which in my opinion is a travesty when compared to other content I've seen on there. So I just wanted to encourage you to keep making novels the way you want to make them. Tomorrow I will be purchasing the full version on Petal as well as Avalon and Bliss on itch. Keep up the good work.

Steam is quickly becoming the ruler of digital porn. Whatever rules they come up with, we'll have to follow as the net loss for having a game banned by them is astounding. Hopefully their rules become clearer so we know what's acceptable and what's not. Adult gaming developers will literally live and die by their admission or rejection. That's a lot of power for one company to have.

Hey, will there be pregnancy option in the near future? Playing a petal among thorns and now AMOB kinda hint that this could happen in future episodes? If not could you please add the option that may happen. I'm guessing Harem option is no issue since Bliss and Petal seems to be on the same page with how they are ok with them engaging the MC. Also I hadn't heard about you recovering from COVID, glad you are doing good, stay safe and keep doing a great job with these Adult Visual Novels.
Pregnancy is something I'm considering but I don't plan too far ahead when I work on these stories. Once a girl is pregnant, it will dramatically affect the story moving forward. It's not something the player worries about much, but from an artistic standpoint it's a very big deal. All the creative responsibility to propel the story forward falls on me. For the end of a story, it's not a big deal. But this is going to be a trilogy, so if one of the girls gets pregnant now, that's going to massively impact Over the Moon (the sequel to AMoB). So all I can say for now is... we'll see. I'm going to try, but I don't want to sacrifice one of the girls on the alter of a fetish and not be able to explore her more. A child is a massive responsibility, and that's not something I'd glaze over in the story.

Cunnilingus is something I want to add. The tongues on the models are difficult to control. There are some other difficulties too. I definitely want to bring more pleasure to the women though. Also, you're right. Pregnancy is difficult to put into the middle of a story. It changes the plot immensely.

About the pregnancy. I much appreciate your comment "a child is a massive responsibility". Don't get me wrong, I do realise this is a game, but so far I've not seen in any game I've played here on itch any explanation why pregnancy between blood relations is considered a 'bad' thing genetic wise. Waiting for the first game where lovers go to the doctor and take a genetic test together to see if the kid they want is going to be 'ok' or not. Perhaps that is too realistic, but I'm worried that young ones will get the wrong impression that there is nothing to worry about.

Great story, though I don't particularly like how sort of dominating and manipulative Bliss feels and how it going to play out with her pushing other girls to be sexual. I also do hope the MC becomes the more dominating type as he should instead of Bliss or any other girl. Having Bliss take down Topher instead of the MC is incredibly humiliating. Overall in my opinion lay off the dominating manipulative side of Bliss and let the MC man up and be dom.
I feel like you're missing a few important things, damnmalic. Bliss is a Dom, and she's teaching the MC to be more dominant. It's not manipulation, it's encouragement. If you played A Petal Among Thorns, you'll notice that the MC is a lot more outgoing and forward about what he wants now. Character growth is important to a story.
MC is not a brawler or a fighter. He's a family man. Punching a kid in the face would be out of character for him. The entire point of the Topher scene was to showcase Bliss's weakness: her over-protective nature.
The reason Bliss is encouraging MC to fool around with other women will be revealed more in the upcoming release. And then from there, she'll explain more in the release after next. I'll give you a hint though. Men are cursed. We will always want more sex than we'll ever get. Bliss is heavily invested in learning human behavior, so she understands this. She wants the MC to be satisfied, so she's seducing other women for him. This is a level of love you will never see in reality.
I get that this kind of story might not be your preferred flavor. That's fine, and there's plenty of AVNs out there that showcase men you might be more interested in following in their journey. I might write a story about a more dominant MC one day, like Cassian from Penny for Your Thoughts. Chester will also be more dominant later, but he'll never be a fighter. It's simply not his character.
As disappointing as it is since I really enjoyed A Petal Among Thorns having a MC that’s less dominant and I guess less “traditionally masculine” isn’t my kind of thing and neither is girl on girl so I guess I’ll be sitting this story out. I also completely understand the whole character growth but I wish it happened more on its own rather than being pushed/encouraged by Bliss and in my opinion even if it isn’t in someone’s nature as a “landlord” it’s your job to protect and stand up to people like Topher. I don't know how you think things happen "on their own". We change and grow because of the influences in our lives, whether they come from circumstances or other individuals. We get into a comfortable routine and do not change. A rudimentary understanding of psychology shows us this. It is only when we become uncomfortable, or someone enters our lives and changes our routine, that we are forced to renegotiate our habits. Growing through outside influences by interacting with others who exhibit the kind of personality traits that we value does not conflict with organic change, rather its necessary for it. We all like what we like, but I think your aversion is due to misguided notions about the relationship we have with our own psychological progression. No hate, all love. I hope you find what you're looking for.

As for the second question, MC wants to give Bliss the opportunity to tell him herself. There's also a lot that's going to be explained in this upcoming release. Some things will make more sense once you've played through the rest of Chapter 2. I'm aiming to have it out mid-August.

I'm confused, I have gotten to the Danger Ranger cosplay section and Suzi just told me that I had rejected Nixie and that she would only be a business partner going forward? I haven't made any decisions of this kind and I don't remember dialogue (or internal monologue) from the MC deciding this either. I don't mind that this is the case (although I would have liked Nixie to be a romantic interest) but it just felt so sudden.
Otherwise I must say I am enjoying this game so far, just as I have enjoyed your other works.
There's supposed to be a choice between Bliss and Nixie. If you click on Bliss, you'll no longer pursue Nixie. I'm actually removing this choice in the next update as the Nixie path is imperative to the story. You also may have gotten a buggy download. I've had another player say they got stuck on the No Nixie path even after choosing Nixie.

Glad this one is what you're currently working on. This will be the fourth of your creations I'm exploring. I love the mature and well thought out dialogue and storyline. After playing quite a few VN's now .. it's incredibly refreshing to get back to one where the MC isn't clueless. I don't understand why so many creators feel it would be fun to have a complete idiot as their avatar.
If that doesn't work, you'll need to head over to your purchases. Click on the down arrow in the top right hand corner of the screen, go down to 'My Library', on the left there will be a tab that says 'My Purchases'. A Moment of Bliss should be in there.
I went through some emailing shenanigans, I clicked on "PC | MEGA | A Moment of Bliss Chapter 2 - Part One" for Windows, and it's downloading right now but MEGA is saying the file is: " AMomentofBliss-2.01.PC.zip." Same as before. If this is Chapter One not Chapter 2, I have no idea what's going on!
2 is the Chapter, 0 is any major updates or improvements, and 1 is a minor update. 2.0.0 was the Beta, so 2.0.1 is the official release for Chapter Two. The next release will finish Chapter Two, so it will be 2.1.1 when it releases. It's an inhouse number for internal use.

That's what it's here for. When life is underwhelming, retreat into fantasy for a little while to get some dopamine hits. Especially with the social climate being so unpredictable right now, visual novels are a safe alternative to a relationship for now. As much as the sex part, I think AVNs have a small market share because people just don't know what their getting! I.e. and AVN was marked 0.2.0 and was on sale on Itch.io for $3. The android version is giving errors for messages that you receive. You cab keep going in the story without the messages until you get the message from Nixie. At this point the error stops you from proceeding.

I used to charge for releases, but I've stopped doing that and instead charge a discounted price for the full game which you'll be able to play as it releases. So if you purchase A Moment of Bliss today, you'll get it for less than what it will cost after it's complete and you will receive the updates as they release. Though each release includes all previous releases, so you'll be downloading the current Chapter plus all previous Chapters. I don't cut them into parts.

Hey there! Just wanted to make a comment regarding the tagging of this game. Considering the intentions demonstrated, you should clearly use the Lesbian Tag and not just the Threesome Tag. It's quite different and very important for people that need to know the content before getting too involved with the story. Already too late for me, but this might help others.
A lesbian tag implies that there are women in the story that are only interested in other women. This is not the case for any of the love interests in the game. All sexual activity happens within the harem, and only with the MC present at this point. There could be an argument made for a subcategory for harem where the women don't interact with each other. Perhaps it would be called a Selfish Harem, where the women are only allowed to sexually interact with the MC but never with each other? In my stories, it's always going to be an Open Harem, where everyone is invested emotionally and sexually in each other.
I understand where you are coming from, but to be frank I've never seen it interpreted that way. From what I see in 99% of games/stories, the Lesbian tag isn't for exclusively Lesbian relations, but rather to indicate there are F+F sexual encounters or relationships. Selfish Harem has a bit of a mean connotation to it.
You make absolutely amazing games, your renders are great and the concepts seem really cool. It's too bad we can't have it both ways with content filters (I understand its too much work for you, specially if you work alone), but I guess that's just a me problem. I was the one that foolishly got invested in a story that would hurt me. When I played A Petal Among Thorns I did get my spidey-senses warning me Bliss was going to hurt me, playing up to the first real conversation with her in AMoB just confirmed it.

I might be misunderstanding. What is it precisely that you're finding distasteful?
I'll preface this by saying that I realize most people don't care about this, it might just be me because of my personal things, but I have seen other people agree with me in a few threads and other games (not a lot though, I admit).
It's definetely not that bad for most people, it's just that the idea that Bliss is going after the Mom and is romantically interested in other girls kinda puts the MC in a complete sideline, he's just "another piece of meat", specially considering it seems she made a move on the Mom first (which makes it seem she's more interested in girls and more interested in the Mom).
And if Petal or Rose and the MC are so in love with each other, the idea of Bliss coming and seducing Petal or Rose to make her less focused on the MC disturbs me.
Some games do this really well, making the threesomes just a stimulant for the relationship and a nice experiment, but the moment the girls start loving each other it makes me fell like the MC is just an extra. How could Petal say all those things about the MC but then love someone else? Would she say the same things to them? The thought makes me distressed.
I realize this makes me sound COMPLETELY off the rails or something, I'm sorry for trying to have this. It's just that these games are a fantasy and it seems the fantasy of having girls only in love with you is really rare, almost all Harem games tend to be Open Harems (or at least the really good ones, like yours, with good renders and good writing).
Edit: A good thought exercise to have - imagine if Bliss was a guy. Wouldn't everyone in the comments be throwing a tantrum crying "NTR! NTR!"?
You don't have to apologize for your interests. These games are fantasy, specifically designed to accommodate unique interests. However, I didn't write any of the characters as you're describing them. Bliss hasn't expressed that much interest in Rose, or anyone else except for Chester. So much so that she's seducing Nixie into a relationship with Chester because she wants him to have unrelenting pleasure and affection. Petal is the same way. Petal's main motivation is pleasing Chester, because she herself derives a lot of pleasure from making him happy. All of the characters are devoted to the main character, but that doesn't mean there isn't friendship and love between the girls.
I understand what you're saying though. I've heard it a few times now. It doesn't feel like Chester is focused on enough, and a few people have voiced this concern. This story is set for how it's going to be. Everything revolves around Chester, but he's not always involved with everything that's going on. I felt this was one of his strengths. He has the maturity to know when to step away from situations to let them breathe. When Bliss interacts with Nixie in the pool, he's letting them have some time together. He doesn't need to be in the spotlight at all times. And that's a robust and independent attribute.
Again though, a lot of people feel the same way. Chester is growing and becoming a more dominant person. He's starting to take control of his own destiny more and more. Right now, a lot of things are happening to him and not because of him. That will change over the course of the story as he develops more as a character. You gotta give that time though.
I've never been able to get my head round people wanting to have every girl in a game at his beck and call in games but don't dare let any other character have sex with someone else or dare say that they love someone else. People can love more that one person simultaneously and have a sexual relationship built on love and not just lust with more than one person at a time. It's like the people that want every girl in a game to be a virgin as if women don't like to have sex and should be pure as the driven snow and never touched by anyone even themselves. Just my tuppence worth. Hell I've saw people wanting mother's to be virgins in games and have had a baby through artificial insemination. It's crazy how distressed people get about these things.
I'm pretty sure there's a mother in Radiant that is a virgin. I mean, it's fantasy. Men want to plow land that's never been tainted before. I don't want too much realism in my games. I play them to escape from reality.
Although, I honestly think if it was Petal's harem, that'd be super hot. Unfortunately not many players in this market would agree. To each his own. :-)
I get the fantasy aspect, I really do. I love your games and I like the virgin fantasy thing too, I think most vn players do but was just meaning about some who think a woman should be tossed aside if she isn't one in game or that an MC should be able to have a harem with countless women but the women shouldn't even be allowed to look at anyone else even with the MCs permission and perhaps I'm being about of a hypocrite but I thought Brooke's story was really wholesome and cute in radiant. I was in no way having a go at your game in any way whatsoever, I actually hoped come the end of over the moon there'd be a lot of free love within the whole family dynamic between all family members and even a few side characters to boot along the lines of perhaps a mid-life crisis but this is your story to tell and I'll be happy with whatever happens. I was just trying to give a couple examples that people seem to get really bent out of shape about if a game doesn't go exactly how they want it to especially on some of the more toxic fandoms. It's just when some people have a go at a vn developer because they aren't pleased they put something in their story or didn't specifically warn them about a specific scene or didn't have a tag they believe that should have been there even though it shouldn't be there and they proceed to bring down parts of a game, it just doesn't sit well with me. Sorry if I caused you any trouble.

I purchased the game on 06-22-2022 06:55:58 for $7.99 + $1.40 VAT, which was 6 weeks ago, so I could not have got Chapter 2 part 2 as Chapter 2 part 2 was released 13 days ago according to this page, yet
when I download it and use the last save there is no extra content, it says the game has ended, just like with my original download!
So I am totally confused. why is my 2.21 version not doing anything more than my old 2.11? I tried installing it over the original installation folder, and I tried putting it in it's own folder, and both were the same. Either version is ending when I lay on the sofa and find out about the experiments from Suzi, with Rose and Suzi talking in the bedroom.

Mr lockheart the 2 update is really mind-blowing. The imagination you have is really awesome .great work man.make sure don't finish the game fast.and make lots of romatic scenes and reduce the sex scean that will be great.and waiting for next update.
These errors have been fixed with the latest release. If you Unren the game, you will break it. Unfortunately the decipher that it uses misinterprets several if / then statements.
The interesting thing is, I downloaded the latest version from here. I got this exception during chapter 2. Hopefully I don't have this problem when chapter 3 comes out.

I just played the newest release, and I have to say that the work is some Quality stuff - I wish we could choose who to romance and who to not, but I'm pretty sure there's a reason for your choices. *spoilers* With that said I did not expect a certain person to have the same desires as the father. Forcing the harem and making all the girls okay with open relationships and taking away any player choice feels wrong. I would have loved to decide who I wanted to romance and have them be solely focused on the player. anyways that's just my two cents. you're making quality work, I just feel it falls flat when being forced into these fetishes.
I completely agree that girls should be optional and up to the player to decide if they want to pursue them. Make that many paths as a single developer is incredibly ambitious, and I couldn't get releases out at a reasonable speed if I did that. I've made the difficult decision to make the game more of a story on rails so that I can get the story I want to tell out at a reasonable release interval.
If I had all the money and resources I needed, I'd definitely flesh out multiple paths for a more player friendly experience. Hopefully one day I'll be at that point. Thanks for playing, fladfisk. I appreciate your support.
While I agree with you and it takes way too much work, it is incredibly distressing the idea of the girls getting romantically involved with other people. I can get over a quick threesome and be done with it but, after playing Petal Among Thorns and getting so invested in the characters, it broke my heart when I realized Bliss was actually after Rose instead of the MC. It's incredibly distressing, so much so that I quit playing the game.
Please tag your games better so players like me know they shouldn't play the game, you could've spared me some heartbreak.
Just played through the latest update (Chapter 2 part 2) -- and I completely agree, I wouldn't have wanted to exclude Nixie anyway. I read the "Walk it Back" log entry, and because I didn't get 2.2 instantly, I don't know what twist you undid -- something related to Westermark Effect? -- but I want to see more of Rose in the game, and surely wouldn't have any objection to see Petal, Bliss, Rose and/or Moon together in various ways, with or without Nixie or MC (or Chuck and/or Wendy, for that matter).

Only recently discovered itch. And I'm glad I did, Just played the demo of Petal and happened to read where steam refused to put it on their platform. Which in my opinion is a travesty when compared to other content I've seen on there. So I just wanted to encourage you to keep making novels the way you want to make them. Steam is quickly becoming the ruler of digital porn. Whatever rules they come up with, we'll have to follow as the net loss for having a game banned by them is astounding. Hey, will there be pregnancy option in the near future? Playing a petal among thorns and now AMOB kinda hint that this could happen in future episodes? If not could you please add the option that may happen. I'm guessing Harem option is no issue since Bliss and Petal seems to be on the same page with how they are ok with them engaging the MC. Also I hadn't heard about you recovering from COVID, glad you are doing good, stay safe and keep doing a great job with these Adult Visual Novels.
Pregnancy is something I'm considering but I don't plan too far ahead when I work on these stories. Once a girl is pregnant, it will dramatically affect the story moving forward. It's not something the player worries about much, but from an artistic standpoint it's a very big deal. All the creative responsibility to propel the story forward falls on me. For the end of a story, it's not a big deal. But this is going to be a trilogy, so if one of the girls gets pregnant now, that's going to massively impact Over the Moon (the sequel to AMoB). So all I can say for now is... we'll see. I'm going to try, but I don't want to sacrifice one of the girls on the alter of a fetish and not be able to explore her more. A child is a massive responsibility, and that's not something I'd glaze over in the story.

Cunnilingus is something I want to add. The tongues on the models are difficult to control. There are some other difficulties too. I definitely want to bring more pleasure to the women though. Also, you're right. Pregnancy is difficult to put into the middle of a story. It changes the plot immensely.

About the pregnancy. I much appreciate your comment "a child is a massive responsibility". Don't get me wrong, I do realise this is a game, but so far I've not seen in any game I've played here on itch any explanation why pregnancy between blood relations is considered a 'bad' thing genetic wise. Waiting for the first game where lovers go to the doctor and take a genetic test together to see if the kid they want is going to be 'ok' or not. Perhaps that is too realistic, but I'm worried that young ones will get the wrong impression that there is nothing to worry about.

Great story, though I don't particularly like how sort of dominating and manipulative Bliss feels and how it going to play out with her pushing other girls to be sexual. I also do hope the MC becomes the more dominating type as he should instead of Bliss or any other girl. Having Bliss take down Topher instead of the MC is incredibly humiliating. Overall in my opinion lay off the dominating manipulative side of Bliss and let the MC man up and be dom.
I feel like you're missing a few important things, damnmalic. Bliss is a Dom, and she's teaching the MC to be more dominant. It's not manipulation, it's encouragement. If you played A Petal Among Thorns, you'll notice that the MC is a lot more outgoing and forward about what he wants now. Character growth is important to a story.
MC is not a brawler or a fighter. He's a family man. Punching a kid in the face would be out of character for him. The entire point of the Topher scene was to showcase Bliss's weakness: her over-protective nature.
The reason Bliss is encouraging MC to fool around with other women will be revealed more in the upcoming release. And then from there, she'll explain more in the release after next. I'll give you a hint though. Men are cursed. We will always want more sex than we'll ever get. Bliss is heavily invested in learning human behavior, so she understands this. She wants the MC to be satisfied, so she's seducing other women for him. This is a level of love you will never see in reality.
I get that this kind of story might not be your preferred flavor. That's fine, and there's plenty of AVNs out there that showcase men you might be more interested in following in their journey. I might write a story about a more dominant MC one day, like Cassian from Penny for Your Thoughts. Chester will also be more dominant later, but he'll never be a fighter. It's simply not his character.

As disappointing as it is since I really enjoyed A Petal Among Thorns having a MC that’s less dominant and I guess less “traditionally masculine” isn’t my kind of thing and neither is girl on girl so I guess I’ll be sitting this story out. I also completely understand the whole character growth but I wish it happened more on its own rather than being pushed/encouraged by Bliss and in my opinion even if it isn’t in someone’s nature as a “landlord” it’s your job to protect and stand up to people like Topher. I don't know how you think things happen "on their own". We change and grow because of the influences in our lives, whether they come from circumstances or other individuals. We get into a comfortable routine and do not change. A rudimentary understanding of psychology shows us this. It is only when we become uncomfortable, or someone enters our lives and changes our routine, that we are forced to renegotiate our habits. Growing through outside influences by interacting with others who exhibit the kind of personality traits that we value does not conflict with organic change, rather its necessary for it. We all like what we like, but I think your aversion is due to misguided notions about the relationship we have with our own psychological progression. No hate, all love. I hope you find what you're looking for.

As for the second question, MC wants to give Bliss the opportunity to tell him herself. There's also a lot that's going to be explained in this upcoming release. Some things will make more sense once you've played through the rest of Chapter 2. I'm aiming to have it out mid-August.

I'm confused, I have gotten to the Danger Ranger cosplay section and Suzi just told me that I had rejected Nixie and that she would only be a business partner going forward? I haven't made any decisions of this kind and I don't remember dialogue (or internal monologue) from the MC deciding this either. I don't mind that this is the case (although I would have liked Nixie to be a romantic interest) but it just felt so sudden.
Otherwise I must say I am enjoying this game so far, just as I have enjoyed your other works.

There's supposed to be a choice between Bliss and Nixie. If you click on Bliss, you'll no longer pursue Nixie. I'm actually removing this choice in the next update as the Nixie path is imperative to the story. You also may have gotten a buggy download. I've had another player say they got stuck on the No Nixie path even after choosing Nixie.

I went through some emailing shenanigans, I clicked on "PC | MEGA | A Moment of Bliss Chapter 2 - Part One" for Windows, and it's downloading right now but MEGA is saying the file is: " AMomentofBliss-2.01.PC.zip." Same as before. If this is Chapter One not Chapter 2, I have no idea what's going on!

2 is the Chapter, 0 is any major updates or improvements, and 1 is a minor update. 2.0.0 was the Beta, so 2.0.1 is the official release for Chapter Two. The next release will finish Chapter Two, so it will be 2.1.1 when it releases. It's an inhouse number for internal use.

i gotta say this one was really good! love the whole thing with bliss lol, although it did feel kindve short? I understand you have a life outside of this and are a busy person, but if they can be a little longer with each update maybe? other than that; really good, love the visuals as well!
also to add, it was unexpected that Moon showed up out of nowhere, which was really nice to see how pretty she was

That's what it's here for. When life is underwhelming, retreat into fantasy for a little while to get some dopamine hits.
